American Idol Top 11

First I want to say how surprised I was that Lacey went home last week. She was one of the better ones, in my opinion, and I know there are much worse still in the game. So far lilly & lacey gone...America has gotten it wrong! (maybe I should vote ha!)

I cant believe she has made it this far, I see glimpses of potential but the bad parts are just overwhelming. I have not seen a good performance from her yet!

WOW the judges were harsh...I didn't think it was THAT bad. I was not a fan of his at all, but he's kind of growing on me.

How cute, he has a crush on Miley! Best of night so far & I'm not even a fan of his.

She's already a star in my book. I love her and I'm enjoying seeing her smile and showing more personality :)

ANDREW GARCIAHe was my fave guy from Hollywood week.Love that song, but not really his rendition of it.

It was a good night, I thought the guys did better than the gals, but there were some pretty bad moments for both nights! I really see potential in a lot of the contestants & I guess that is why they were chosen for the Top 24. I'm interested in seeing who goes home tomorrow...just don't let it be any of these 3! ;)

All in all it was just an "okay" night. I really hope the season improves because I was not impressed. Of course it was the first night and usually it never goes too well...

American Idol is back! Tomorrow will be the first of many auditions, followed by HOLLYWOOD WEEK and then the competition starts! I'm really hoping for a good year with outstanding talent!

I'm sure most of you remember my FANatic behavior towards Adam Lambert...I have still yet to buy his CD. I do not like the cover (I saw it tonight at Wal-Mart). Alexis said "They made him look like a girl!" She was right on! Ah..well, he has talent, I cannot deny that AND he has some strange taste! I haven't heard all the songs yet, I may like them.

So, I also hear Simon Cowell is leaving AI after this season...who knew he wanted to follow Paula Abdul so badly?? I am thinking AI will not do as great and will be coming to an end. I must say, even though I love the show...all good things must come to an end at some point, right??

I will not be giving my weekly updates/opinions on American Idol until the Top 10 (11, 12,13, ???) are revealed. But I will be watching and trying to see who my favorites will be this year!

I'm more upset than I thought I would be.

I really like Kris.

I liked him from the beginning.

I'm happy for him.

I congratulate him.

but...

I'm so sad! I really think Adam should have won! He is still MY American Idol!

& I will miss seeing him every week. At least I can listen to him since I downloaded all his songs off iTunes [heehee]

& I may TOTALLY FREAK when I see him at the CONCERT!!!!

Would rather have seen Scott go home, but she deserved to go home and as she stated "ready to go home to her baby boy". It'll be neat to see if she ends up with a record deal of some sort.

Long time no see...

When I started this blog I told myself I would try to post something at least once a day. I have disappointed myself to say the last since I have not posted on the blog for quite some time..at least for me it feels like forever! I guess I have had somewhat of a writer's block...since ya know...I'm NOT a writer. I've been pretty busy with school (finals this week) and gearing up for Spring Break. The girls get 2 weeks off! Joey is coming to see us in the middle of SB for 5 days! & Joey had a birthday this week, turned 31! He was 22 when I met him. I was 19. I thought he was so much older and to think back now, 22 is so young! (random thought)
I've also been getting my dose of American Idol!
Who doesnt love this show?? Come here so I can kick you.
Dont be afraid, get on the band wagon! I have watched every season since season 1 and although some seasons have been better than others I love to hear the talent every year & pick out my faves! We are so close to the final 12! I am happy with the choices so far except 1. Michael Sarver. I am sorry but I do not like him and do not understand the hype. Please do not vote for people for sympathy reasons. it is about TALENT! However..since he made it to the top 12 I will give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he does...which I guess I have no choice. Who knows...maybe he will surprise me!
I was really trying to bite my tongue until the top 12 were fully picked. Too many contestants to talk about right now, but next week I will be sharing my faves! Tonight I will be watching the WILD CARDS perform & voting!!!
